Main Purpose of Job
POSITION DUTIES
- Develops an annual action plan with metrics to direct the activities of the regional offices. The annual plan reflects the goals and objectives of the Office of Business development.
- Develops strategies that maximize delivery of services to Maryland's business community.
- Provides statewide direction, communication and ensures the promotion of all employer focused programs. Ensures the local BRRs are coordinating the statewide outreach plan to employers and supports the BBRs in reaching goals.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Possession of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration or Human Services or a combination of military and/or educational experience functionally equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree.
Experience:
Six years of experience in an administrative or professional work capacity. Two years of this experience must have involved one or more of the following: the supervision of other employees, overseeing and coordinating the general operations of a unity developing and providing training for staff.
