Main Purpose of Job

The main purpose of this position is to direct the compliance, inspection and enforcement programs and/or functions assigned to the bureau within the Maryland Medical Cannabis Office (MMCC) as required. Additionally, this position will effectively manage regional enforcement supervisors and investigators as they carry-out required investigations, inspections and enforcement and compliance of MMCC's licensees according to COMAR 10.62.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree and six years of professional health or human services administration experience, including three years at a supervisory or management level. 

A Master’s degree will substitute for one year of general experience.  A Doctorate will substitute for two years general experience.  Additional experience will substitute year-for-year for the college degree.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Employees in this position are subject to substance abuse testing in accordance with Code of Maryland Regulations 17.04.09, Testing for Illegal Use of Drugs.

This is a Management Service position, and serves at the pleasure of the Appointing Authority.  A resume must accompany your application.
