Main Purpose of Job

The Office of the Attorney General is seeking applicants for a Mediator to assist in the administration of the Salisbury Office of the Mediation Unit in the Consumer Protection Division. The position is responsible for negotiation of complex consumer complaints; and assisting in the management of the unit's daily caseload in our Salisbury office.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited four year college or university and three years of experience in administrative or social work; strong interpersonal, writing, and organizational skills required. A candidate may substitute up to two years of education for up to two years of experience. 

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in mediation;

Experience in negotiation of complex consumer complaints;
