LOCATION OF POSITION
POSITION DUTIES
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Possession of a doctoral degree from an accredited college or university including fifteen credit hours in research methodology, theoretical or applied statistics and measurement theory.
Experience: Three years of post doctoral experience in statistical research.
OR:
Education: Possession of a master’s degree from an accredited college or university including nine credit hours in research methodology, theoretical or applied statistics and measurement theory.
Experience: Six years of post master’s experience in statistical research.
Note: Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Statistician classifications or Statistician and Intelligence Officer specialty codes in the Statistics field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience and education.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with statistical package R and Automatic Differentiation Model Builder (ADMB)
Familiarity with fishery stock assessment models
