LOCATION OF POSITION
MDH, Potomac Center, SETT/Court Involved Residential Program (CIRP), Hagerstown MD
Main Purpose of Job
The main purpose of this position is to assure Potomac Center and SETT/Court Involved Residential Program (CIRP)'s compliance with Federal and State Regulations and Evidenced Based and Accreditation Practices, with emphasis on staff training and development. This position will be responsible for facilitating, delivering and evaluating training sessions, maintaining training records and monitoring reports, preparing for audits, tracking and maintaining complete and accurate databases. This position will provide information and support to any survey body reviewing materials during a licensing survey or investigation. Compliance and training across the full interdisciplinary service spectrum, to include residential and vocational program services, nursing services, clinical services and operations. This position is part of the Quality Enhancement Team and will work in tandem with other entities, to include but not limited to the Human Resources Department.
Populations served are those with intellectual disabilities (all levels of disability) and often times coupled with mental illness and/or court involvement.
Education: Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
Experience: Two years experience in administrative or professional work.
Notes: 1. Candidates may substitute additional experience in administrative staff or professional work on a year-for-year basis for the required education.
2. Candidates may substitute additional graduate level education at an accredited college or university at the rate of 30 semester credit hours for each year of the required experience.
3. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer involving staff work that included regular use of independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting complex administrative plans, policies, rules or regulations or analysis of operational programs or procedures with recommendations for improvement on a year-for-year basis for the required education and experience.

The desired candidate should possess experience with the following:
ensuring compliance with licensing, Federal, State and facility rules and regulations
training and management
monitoring reports and preparing audits, tracking trends
maintaining complete and accurate databases
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Maryland.
