POSITION DUTIES
This position is responsible for the direction and day-to-day management of the Classification and Compensation Unit, Employee Health Services Unit, and Operational Support Unit within the Department of Public Safety & Correctional Services (DPSCS). The incumbent directly reports to the Deputy Director of Human Resources and supports the Executive Director of the Human Resources Services Division in the management and development of all DPSCS HR Field Staff and in division-wide policy development and implementation.
This is a Management Service position, and serves at the pleasure of the Appointing Authority.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Experience: Four years of senior level human resources experience managing multiple disciplines and locations. This experience must include at least four of the following disciplines: Human Resources Management, Employee Health, Risk Management, Employee Relations, Strategic Planning, Leadership Development and Training and Policy Development.
Note: An additional four years of the required experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required education.
