Main Purpose of Job
This position will supervisor subordinates assigned to the Collection Team within the Central Collection Unit. This position will collect all delinquent accounts referred from various Maryland state government agencies in the quickest, efficient, and most cost effective manner which employing the highest professional standards.
This is a special appointment position that will serve at the pleasure of the appointing authority.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Four years of full time experience collecting overdue payments for delinquent accounts owed.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Two years of customer service experience;
Two years of Call Center experience;
Four years of supervisory experience.
