MDH, Health Services Cost Review Commission, Baltimore, MD

Main Purpose of Job

The position will provide support to the Chief of Network and Data Processing with the management and maintenance of data sets as well as provide support and back-up for the HSCRC network and computing capacity. In addition, assist in preparation and maintenance of the HSCRC equipment inventory; research and stay informed of current IT products, procedures, and security issues. As necessary, communicate with external operations to maintain Internet, email and website availability.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Qualified candidates must possess at least 10 years of information technology experience that includes the following:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with DELL EMC Unity Unisphere;
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience with VMware 6.0;
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience managing Quest Rapid Recovery;
  • A minimum of 4 years experience maintaining wireless networks;
  • A minimum of 4 years experience configuring and managing cisco switches;
  • Strong network troubleshooting skills (especially Layer 2 and Layer 3); and,
  • Strong knowledge of laptop and handheld devices configuration and setup.
