Introduction

The Maryland Supplemental Retirement Plans (MSRP) is seeking an Executive Director (ED).  Established in 1974, MSRP offers teachers and state employees voluntary supplemental retirement savings options including a 403(b) Tax-Deferred Annuity Plan, a 401(k) Savings and Investment Plan, and 457 Deferred Compensation Plan.  The combined Plans have assets in excess of $4.3 billion.

LOCATION OF POSITION

MSRP is based in Baltimore. 

Main Purpose of Job

The ED is the Chief Executive Officer of MSRP and is appointed by and reports to the nine-member fiduciary oversight and policy Board of Trustees.  The ED will lead a staff of 11 and work closely with Nationwide Retirement Services on plan administration and member interaction. 


This is an Executive Service position, and serves at the pleasure of the Appointing Authority.
