Main Purpose of Job

The main function of this position is to perform housekeeping, general services and  performs all associated task for the Havre de Grace Military Reservation's building.   

POSITION DUTIES

Maintains floors by dust mopping, wet mopping and periodic stripping and waxing.

Cleans trash and debris from lobbies, halls, etc.

Cleans and mops all lavatories and ensure that they are neat and clean.

Cleans floors, bowls, urinals and mopping floors and showers.

Removes all trash daily and take to dumpster.

Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: None.

Experience: None.

SELECTIVE QUALIFICATIONS

Must be a current Maryland Military Department employee

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS

Employees appointed to positions in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Maryland.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Employees in this classification may be subject to call-in 24 hours a day and, therefore, may be required to provide the employing agency with a telephone number where they can be reached.
