Main Purpose of Job

This is an Executive Level MBON Staff leadership position responsible for direction and general oversight of:

  • Operations, coordination and general supervision of operational initiatives
  • Operational oversight for areas of MBON that do not require professional nursing judgement and decision-making
  • Fiscal department and budget management from an operations standpoint
  • Procurement for entire agency
  • Resource Protection
  • Security programs and building/structure issues in the absence of DGS as it relates to security and continuity of operations
  • Assurance that agency operations are geared to mission of public protection while providing highest standards of Excellent Customer Service
  • Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP)
  • Critical Operation process (i.e. telephones, QA, Workload Analysis)
  • Workflow documentation of current operations
  • Planning for operational improvements
  • Auditing each departments productivity
  • Developing reporting analysis

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Business and Strategic Management, Financial Management, Healthcare Management or related degree and five years of professional health services experience, including three years of supervisory experience. 

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Desirable candidates will possess a Master's degree in Health Administration and experience with procurement and contracts.

SELECTION PROCESS

This is a Management Service position, and serves at the pleasure of the Appointing Authority.  A resume must accompany your application.
