LOCATION OF POSITION
MDH, Office of Systems, Operations and Pharmacy, Baltimore, MD
Main Purpose of Job
This position is responsible for assisting the Senior Prescription Drug Assistance Program (SPDAP) Director with organizing, planning, and coordinating SPDAP operations to include systems, audits, budgets, performance and contracts/procurements. This position also includes budget management of SPDAP and Third Party Administrator (TPA) operations totaling approximately $14 million annually as well as oversight of a bank account that handles approximately $12 million annually.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional experience in an account management, project management or contract management field, including 3 years of experience managing or supervising subordinates. This position also requires proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel spreadsheets and Access databases.
Candidates should also possess:

General accounting knowledge

Experience with project budget development, project budget projections and statistical analysis

Experience with project outreach efforts to include making presentations to diverse target groups

Experience with Contract Monitoring

Experience with conflict resolution and customer relations

BENEFITS
Leave may be granted to a contractual employee who has worked 120 days in a 12 month period. This leave accrues at a rate of one hour for every 30 hours worked, not to exceed 40 hours per calendar year.
