MDH, Developmental Disabilities Administration, 201 W. Preston Street, Baltimore, MD

POSITION DUTIES

This position will review and verify new provider application data (claim forms, encounter data, enrollment forms, adjustment forms, insurance data, or other related documents) for accuracy, completeness and compliance with State and federal regulations. This position will also function as the Quality Advisory Council administrative liaison between the Developmental Disabilities Administration and council advocates.  This position will provide administrative support assistance for the DDA headquarter units.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Completion of 60 credit hours at an accredited college or university.

Experience: One year of experience in administrative or professional work.

Notes:  1. Candidates may substitute experience as defined above for the required education at the rate of one year of experience for 30 credit hours, for up to 60 credit hours of required education.

2. Candidates may substitute 90 credit hours at an accredited college or university for the required education and experience.

3. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non-commissioned officer involving staff work requiring regular use of independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting rules and regulations in accordance with agency laws and policieson a year-for-year basis for the required education and experience.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The desired candidate should have extensive experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc), experience with Google Apps such as Google docs, Google sheets and calendar, experience with Adobe PDF Editing software, experience reviewing applications for approval processes and experience with corporate card purchasing from state and other approved vendors.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Candidate may be responsible for providing their own transportation as needed to access meetings, remote locations, and job destinations as assigned.

Candidates may remain on the certified eligible list for a period of at least one year. The resulting certified eligible list for this recruitment may be used for similar positions in this or other State agencies.
