Main Purpose of Job
POSITION DUTIES
This position is also responsible for performing audits of
providers of youth care. The purpose of these audits is to determine whether
funds were spent in accordance with the contract and other applicable policies,
procedures, and guidelines, and to obtain reimbursement from providers in
instances where they overbilled the Department.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: A Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college or university or a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with 30 credit hours in accounting and related courses, including or supplemented by 3 credit hours in auditing.
Experience: None.
Note: Applicants who have met the requirements for admission to the CPA examination prior to July 1,1974 will be considered to have met the educational requirement referenced above.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· At least one year of experience conducting financial and operational internal audits that include
elements for finance and compliance, economy and
efficiency, and program results.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting

Candidates must have
excellent oral and written communication skills.

Candidates must be
able to work both independently and in a team environment.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
