Salary Range: $54,279 to $70,600 (with progression to $87,106)

Main Purpose of Job
POSITION DUTIES
Develops content and resources to deliver in-person and or virtual trainings and technical assistance activities aligned with USDA regulatory guidance; evaluates training effectiveness through the design and analysis of surveys and other assessment tools; collaborates with internal and external partners to identify training needs and priorities to improve the program effectiveness of OSCNP stakeholders.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: A Master’s Degree or equivalent 36 credit hours of post-baccalaureate course work in Health Science, Food Service Administration, Consumer Science, Dietetics, Nutrition, Public Health, Public/Business Administration or a related area.
EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of professional experience in nutrition program administration, coordination or management, or a related area. Experience in Child Nutrition Programs or teaching consumer sciences. Registered Dietitian is desirable.
Notes: Two additional years of experience may be substituted for the Master’s degree or 36 hours of equivalent post-baccalaureate course work. The above requirements are set by the Maryland State Department of Education in accordance with Education Article, Section 2-104.
SELECTIVE QUALIFICATIONS
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skill in training, effective communications; developing and interpreting policies and procedures; identifying problems, and determining improvements/solutions; ability to organize and manage multiple tasks; an ability to provide timely customer service, and an ability to work as a team member. Knowledge of federal laws and regulations governing school and community nutrition programs preferred (e.g., National School Lunch Program, School Breakfast Program, CACFP At Risk Afterschool Program and others).
