LOCATION OF POSITION

Annapolis, Maryland

POSITION DUTIES

The Comptroller of Maryland, Revenue Administration Division is seeking Tax Season Workers to perform mail opening and prep functions in our Returns Processing and Payment Processing Sections.

These positions will be available starting in May through September or October of 2021. SALARY: $11.75 per hour

PLEASE NOTE: These positions are located in the Annapolis office and work Monday-Friday, shifts are available from 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., 8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m., 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Candidates may be required to work some State Holidays and Saturdays.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: None

Experience: None

LIMITATIONS ON SELECTION

  • Must be willing and able to work in the Annapolis office in a full-time capacity.

EXAMINATION PROCESS

Prior to appointment, the employee must successfully undergo a background investigation including a review of criminal, MVA and tax records; and determination of legal authorization to work in the United States or under the United States Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986. This background check is comprehensive and may involve fingerprinting.
