LOCATION OF POSITION
MDH, Clifton T. Perkins Hospital Center, Jessup, MD
POSITION DUTIES
The main purpose of this position is to prepare, season and cook food for hospital patients, employees and visitors.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: None.
Experience: Three years of experience in food preparation at a public or governmental establishment, such as a restaurant, hospital or comparable institution involving the cooking of meats and vegetables and the preparation of salads and beverages.
Note: Graduation from an accredited vocational/technical high school with a major in food service or a related field may be substituted for up to two years of the required experience.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The desired candidate should possess the following:

ServSafe certification
-
Experience completing daily production sheets documenting the use of food

Experience with assisting in menu planning, standard menus and modified special diet menus
