LOCATION OF POSITION
Main Purpose of Job
A DJS Case Management Specialist Supervisor is the supervisory level of work providing case management services to juveniles in a community or residential setting. Employees in this classification oversee the implementation and coordination of services and treatment plans for juveniles on informal supervision, probation supervision, after-care supervision, detained pending trial or disposition, or committed to the Department of Juvenile Services. Employees in this classification supervise DJS Case Management Specialists.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Two (2) years of experience planning and supervising the performance of work of employees in a community setting are highly desirable.
- Three (3) years of experience working with youth in a juvenile justice setting.
- Experience planning, managing and supervising subordinate case managers.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with DJS stakeholders.
