POSITION DUTIES

The main purpose of this position is to function as a support person to the Physician Licensure and Allied Units as outlined in the Management for Results. Other duties assigned, but not limited to: -Performing audits of documents for annual CME & CE audits of physicians and allied health practitioners in accordance with established procedures to determine compliance with regulations, including review of CME or CE documentation, updating tracking spreadsheets and mailing audit status letters. - Providing support to the Physician Licensure and Allied Health Units in meeting their Management for Results goals by data entry of information from initial, reinstatement applications into the BPOA database. Downloading electronic verifications received via email to the Board, filing and retrieving credentials from drawer, matching, and assigning credentials and miscellaneous documents to analyst utilizing BPQA tracking system and distributing application folders to analysts in a timely manner.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:   Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.

Experience: Two years of experience performing clerical, clerical technical, or secretarial work.

Notes:

1. Candidates may substitute 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university for each year of the required experience.

2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non-commissioned officer involving staff work requiring regular use of independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting rules and regulations in accordance with agency laws and policies on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The desired candidate should possess:
- Experience with obtaining, analyzing, and interpreting data and applying laws 
- Experience with planning and implementing new or revised programs, procedures, practices, and organizations

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Candidates may be responsible for providing their own transportation as needed to access meetings, remote locations, and job destinations as assigned.
