Main Purpose of Job

The Office of the Attorney General is seeking applicants for an Administrator III, Scheduler, for the Executive Office.  

POSITION DUTIES

Responsibilities include, but not limited to, managing the Attorney General’s schedule; organizing and vetting meeting requests and invitations and presenting them at weekly scheduling meetings; making logistical and travel arrangements for the Attorney General; communicating with the Executive Protection Unit to ensure seamless and secure travel; keeping staff members and the Attorney General updated in real time about schedule changes; ensuring staff provides proper briefing materials in a timely fashion and confirming staffing assignments for events; providing administrative support and duties related to managing the overall operation of the Executive Office. This position requires flexible hours and availability as needed during evenings and weekends. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:  The ideal candidate will have graduated from an accredited high school or possess a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience:  Five years’ experience in administrative support work.

NOTES:
Additional education at an accredited college or university may be substituted at a rate of thirty credit hours for each year of the required experience for up to two years of the required experience.
 

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1.  Legal secretary experience preferred.  
2.  Proficient in the use of word processing software, databases, and spreadsheets.
