Main Purpose of Job

The incumbent will be responsible for managing the review and execution of the service agreements issued between DoIT and its customers. These agreements document the scope and cost of services to be delivered. The candidate must be able to independently draft and review budgetary documents for completeness to ensure accuracy of content. This position is in support of the DoIT Portfolio Officer team.

This position requires someone who can work in a high-pressure, customer-facing environment. Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, the ability to write accurately and strong proofreading skills. A strong attention to detail and organizational skills is a must.


· Final review of draft documents.

· Presentation of documents to customer agencies.

· Independently respond to questions or concerns regarding said documents; manage any needed revisions and/or follow up meetings.

· Execute documents through an electronic signature tool (e.g. Adobe Sign)

· Route ticket request to DoIT Customer Experience Manager for service delivery. 

· Create a tracker for Statements of Work and Fund Certs. 


Experience:   Five years of experience in administrative staff or professional work.

Notes: (Substitutions)

1. Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university for each year up to four years of the required experience.

2. Candidates may substitute the possession of a Bachelor's degree from a college or university and one year of experience in administrative staff or professional work for the required experience.

3. Candidates may substitute additional graduate level education at an accredited college or university at the rate of 30 credit hours for each year of the required experience.

4. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer involving staff work that included regular use of independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting complex administrative plans, policies, rules or regulations or analysis of operational programs or procedures with recommendations for improvement on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.


Our Preferred Candidate Will Have the Following:

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Working knowledge of Google Mail, Documents, Sheets and Meetings.

Experience working in an IT service delivery environment.


Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Maryland.

Contractual employees who work for an agency and have a current employment contract of 30 or more hours a week (or on average 130 hours per month) will be eligible for subsidized health benefits coverage for themselves and their dependents. As a contractual employee, you will be responsible for paying 25% of the premiums for your medical and prescription coverage, including any eligible dependents you have enrolled. The State of Maryland will subsidize the remaining 75% of the cost for these benefits. You can also elect to enroll in dental coverage, accidental death and dismemberment insurance, and life insurance, but will be responsible to pay the full premium for these benefits.

Paid leave will accrue at a rate of one hour for every 30 hours worked, not to exceed 40 hours per calendar year.
