POSITION DUTIES
Solutions
Management
Oversee development and maintenance of solutions delivered to customers ensuring adherence to the development lifecycle for platform solutions, compliance of policies and standards for security and privacy, the timely delivery and high-quality solutions.
Oversee resources in support of multi-million-dollar data management projects to ensure compliance of deliverables based on documented agreements, within designated time frames and budgets, according to established state policies for security and privacy and pursue corrective actions to rectify discrepancies.
Program Management
Manage the components of the shared services of the Data Management program including establishing governance, policies and procedures, program goals, Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and other standards and controls and ensure they are continually incorporated into solutions operations and maintenance.
Review technical resources and proactively identify and explore the latest developments in data, solutions and systems management in an effort to enhance program services and operations.
Contracts
Management
Oversee development of technical requirements and specifications to adequately procure services, hardware, software, etc. in support of the solutions delivered to customers.
Review and evaluate technical and financial bid proposals for awarding solicitations regarding consulting services, hardware, software, services, etc. in support of the program’s shared services.
Engage with vendors to ensure vendor compliance and to rectify discrepancies.
Budget
Management
Manage the program budget to
include forecasting expenditures for purchasing, staffing and operations, monitor
and regulate the program expenditures, and track customer usage as it relates
to the team’s shared services chargeback models and customer invoices.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree program in data science, computer science, information science, engineering or equivalent field.
