GRADE

Error Correction/QRDT- $15.00

POSITION DUTIES

The Comptroller of Maryland, Revenue Administration Division is seeking Tax Season temporary staff to assist with the investigation, correction and processing of tax returns and associated payments. These positions maybe be eligible for future full time employment.

SALARY: $15.00 per hour  

PLEASE NOTE: These full time positions are located in the Annapolis office and work Monday-Friday, shifts are available between 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Candidates may be required to work some State Holidays and Saturdays during the period of February 1st through May 31st.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: None
Experience: None

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.

EXAMINATION PROCESS

Prior to appointment, the employee must successfully undergo a background investigation including a review of criminal, MVA and tax records; and determination of legal authorization to work in the United States or under the United States Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986. This background check is comprehensive and may involve fingerprinting.
