Annual Salary Range: $41,068 – $50,944 (with progression to $62,525)

Main Purpose of Job
This is a contractual position that will provide administrative and secretarial support, management, and assistance with the administration of the Title II Grant Program.
Duties of this position include administrative and secretarial support; assistance in the administration of the Title II grant program & other Branch grants; initiation, processing, tracking, & reconciliation of grant award notifications, amendments, and invoices; organization & maintenance of files for grants & correspondence to ensure availability & retrieval of information; using electronic & paper filing systems; formatting & typing text, charts, & graphs for reports to relay information about the program & to meet reporting requirements; updating statistical data & compiling information; creating & maintaining records for grant awards & procurement for grant activities; preparing correspondence related to grant awards & grant oversight, including communication, organization, planning, & document production; developing & implementing office procedures and processes for overall effective program operations including program and fiscal document tracking, retrieval, and maintenance; procurement, credit card reconciliation; monitoring critical projects & correspondence to assure deadlines are met; completing requisitions & purchasing supplies.
EDUCATION: Completion of 60 credit hours at an accredited college or university.
EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of experience in administrative or professional work. One (1) year of the required experience must have been in Office Management. Previous experience with grant management of an educational program preferred.
1. Applicants may substitute a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university for the required education and experience.
2. Applicants may substitute experience as defined above for the required education at the rate of one year experience for 30 credit hours of education, for up to 60 credit hours of the required education.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of State & federal laws, regulations & policies governing education, knowledge of grant processes and statutory requirements, experience with fiscal & financial management; skill in planning & delivering technical assistance, skill organizing/ managing multiple tasks & timelines; establish & maintain effective working relationships; ability to communicate effectively both orally & in writing; proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite.
