Main Purpose of Job

This position directs all activities in the Office of Community Support Services. Manages and supervises the staff that provide services to individuals with mental health disorders. Programs include Integrative Therapeutic Family Services (ITFS), Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness (PATH), the Continuum of Care (CoC) Program, State Care Coordination, and the New Horizons Re-entry Program. Responsible for execution of a budget which includes reviewing/approving expenditures for the 5 programs managed by the CSSO Director. This position also provides professional mental health counseling services for individuals in the Integrative Therapeutic Family Services (ITFS) program.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Qualified candidates must possess a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) license from the Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists OR a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) license from the Board of Social Workers and at least 4 years of professional administrative experience and at least 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Desirable candidates should possess experience reviewing/approving various expenditures for multiple programs, including salaries.

SELECTION PROCESS

This is a Management Service position and serves at the pleasure of the Appointing Authority.  A resume must accompany your application.
