POSITION DUTIES
- Manages and coordinates the delivery of virtual instructor led training programs designed to develop and update targeted employee competencies consistent with identified training needs and DHS’s strategic training goals.
- Manages and coordinates the delivery of virtual instructor led training programs designed to develop and update targeted employee competencies consistent with identified training needs and DHS’s strategic training goals.
- Prepares for training delivery by reviewing materials, attending rehearsals, and confirming all necessary technical configurations.
- Resolves audio and connection issues for attendees and speakers during virtual instructor led sessions.
- Adheres to a training schedule consistent with DHS’ strategic training goals and timely posts course attendance data after delivery of training.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience: Six months of experience performing administrative staff, clerical, clerical technical, or secretarial work.
Notes:
1. Candidates may substitute 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university for the required experience.
2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non-commissioned officer involving staff work requiring regular use of independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting rules and regulations in accordance with agency laws and policies on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- One year of experience performing clerical, clerical technical, or secretarial work.
- One year of relevant experience including experience with virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, and Webex.
- One year of professional work experience working with Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office Suite.
- One year of experience using PowerPoint or Google Slides.
