Main Purpose of Job
POSITION DUTIES
- Provide onsite coaching, training, and monitoring of staff delivering DBT and other treatment programs at Victor Cullen Center as well as other locations if requested;
- Provide the Department's DBT entry level, initial onsite, in-service, and remedial training;
- Provide DBT and other clinical services at the Victor Cullen Center and other facilities, as needed;
- Implement monitoring procedures to ensure DBT program fidelity.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
SELECTIVE QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates appointed to
this position must possess a Mental Health (i.e., Counseling, Psychology or Social Work) license from the State of Maryland.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Two years of experience assessing and/or providing therapy to the population of adolescents with mental health and/or substance abuse disorders in the Juvenile Justice system.
- Two years of experience working with an adolescent population with mental health and/or substance abuse issues.
- Prior DBT Training and/or certification.
