Introduction
This is a MANAGEMENT SERVICES position with the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. The incumbent serves at the pleasure of the appointing authority.

Main Purpose of Job
POSITION DUTIES
- Conducting analyses of complex financial issues and preparing projections related to health care costs and delivery.
- Directing and administering material issues bearing on the cost effectiveness of the Inmate Health Care System.
- Conducting cost-benefit analyses for healthcare and medical contracts.
- Establishing methods for data collection and examination in order to provide thorough analysis of overall service delivery.
- Initiating, planning, designing and executing projects in public health policy analysis and ensure the validity and reliability of findings, interpretations, conclusions, recommendations and final reports.
- Monitoring new legislation and providing input on current and future impact in regards to medical compliance.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Experience conducting financial and/or operational audits in a correctional environment.
Experience managing healthcare contracts in a correctional environment.
Experience interpreting and analyzing legal documentation and legislation.
