Main Purpose of Job
POSITION DUTIES
- Manages communication and workload in the Maryland Real Estate Commission; Functions independently and within established work priorities as necessary to effectively complete tasks/assignments of a complex nature, requiring application of State and/or Agency policies, laws, and regulation through sound judgment and analysis.
- Independently composes appropriate correspondence to requirements met by the commission. Prepare various statistical, financial and special reports or charts with information obtained through research r with information obtained from reports requested by the Executive Director.
- Implements and coordinates special projects as assigned by the executive director. These special projects include but are not limited to: Hearing/meeting room schedules coordinator, in-state and out- of state travel request, scheduling interviews, and other clerical duties.
- Provide clerical, and data entry services, assist with special projects and other duties as assigned to the Maryland Real Estate Commission
- Other duties assigned. Additional duties include FMIS, travel request, and corporate purchase cardholder for the commissioner.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience: Six months of experience performing administrative staff, clerical, clerical technical, or secretarial work.
Notes:
1. Candidates may substitute 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university for the required experience.
2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non-commissioned officer involving staff work requiring regular use of independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting rules and regulations in accordance with agency laws and policies on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
