Introduction
The Maryland Office of Administrative Hearings (OAH)
is located in Hunt Valley, MD. We are a State agency charged with conducting
fair and timely hearings in 500 different types of cases for over 30 State
agencies.
We are looking for an individual who is organized, has
the ability to multitask and meet deadlines, and lift up to 40 pounds to join
our team as an Office Coordinator. This
position serves as the agency buyer and is responsible for building
maintenance, contract management and safety and security. This position also requires a valid driver’s
license.
The salary range is $62,752 to $$66,385 annually.
(State salary guidelines do apply for current state employees.)

Main Purpose of Job
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience: Three years of administrative staff or professional work.
Notes:
1. Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university for each year up to two years of the required experience.
2. Candidates may substitute the possession of a Bachelor's degree from a college or university for the required experience.
3. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer involving staff work that included the regular use of independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting complex administrative plans, policies, rules or regulations or analysis of operational programs or procedures with recommendations for improvement on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
SELECTIVE QUALIFICATIONS
To be eligible for this
position, candidates must be able to lift up to 40 pounds in order to perform
the essential functions of the job.
