Main Purpose of Job
This position provides
administrative and operational support to the Director, Office of Clinician
Services, by coordinating the day-to-day activities of the department.
POSITION DUTIES
Assist
EMS Training Specialists and Managers with processing certification, licensure,
and renewal for ALS, BLS and EMD in a timely manner.
Handle
phone calls from clinicians dealing with questions regarding licensing;
renewal, reciprocity, reinstatement, extension, change of information, etc.
Oversee
customer service management of the office secretaries to include; customer
service training, oversight and create a weekly and monthly compliance report,
complaint log and data for the Director.
Oversee
KACE tickets and create a weekly and monthly QA/QI report to include compliance
rating Report for all OCS team members for the Director.
Schedule
and administer in house examinations and assist with off-site examination
administration at regional offices.
Compile
ALS, BLS and EMD Data for the Director and MIEMSS leadership.
Assist
in the tracking and administration of the ALS and EMD grant programs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience: Four years of administrative staff or professional work.
Notes:
1. Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university for each year up to four years of the required experience.
2. Candidates may substitute the possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university for the required experience.
3. Candidates may substitute the possession of a Master's degree from an accredited college or university for the required experience.
4. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer involving staff work related to the administration of rules, regulations, policy, procedures and processes, or overseeing or coordinating unit operations or functioning as a staff assistant to a higher ranking commissioned officer on a year-for- year basis for the required experience.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preference will be
given to applicants who possess the following preferred qualifications. Please

· - Two Years of
professional experience working with federal or state grants
· - Two years of
professional experience using Microsoft Excel functions or formulas in spreadsheets
