LOCATION OF POSITION
POSITION DUTIES
- Manage and organize all incoming LEA requests for to obtain a digital tool that does not meet equivalent access standards
- Coordinate meetings and schedule § 7-910 equivalent access team to review LEA notifications and requests
- Respond to LEAs inquires on the status of pending requests
- Facilitate scheduling between partner agencies listed in the law
- Prepare responses to consulting agencies and the LEAs based on the decisions of the § 7-910 committees
- Maintain detailed records of committee meetings and finalized decisions
- Develop a tracking systems approved and denied requests for digital tools that does not meet equivalent access standards
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience: One year of administrative staff or professional work.
Notes:
1. Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university for the required experience.
2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer involving staff work that included regular use of independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting complex administrative plans, policies, rules or regulations or analysis of operational programs or procedures with recommendations for improvement on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with digital tools used in accessibility standards
- Experience remediating content to ensure it is accessible
- Experience with scheduling, tracking systems and record keeping
