Main Purpose of Job
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience: Three years of professional experience in assisting in the coordination of a health-related program(s) or referring people to governmental and private resources.
Notes:
1. Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Health Care Administration classifications or Civil Affairs Specialist specialty codes in the health-related field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience and education.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience/Knowledge of Medicaid home and community based services.
- Experience with stimulating, developing and coordinating available inter-agency and community policies.
- Experience with conducting and participating in research, studies and surveys.
- Experience with planning, organizing and project managing the work of others, and preparing informative policies.
