Main Purpose of Job
POSITION DUTIES
- Initiates the examination/investigation process by entering data into the three systems used by the Supervision Units. The State Examination System (SES), Nationwide Multistate Licensing System & Registry (“NMLS”), and the AS 400 (Agency’s software program) systems. Contact licensees through email, NMLS, and SES to alert the licensees that an examination/investigation has commenced. Instructs the licensees through a detailed introduction email on accessing the SES and responding to the Information Requests. Monitors responses from licensee, and, if there is no response to Information Requests refers licensee to the Enforcement Unit for further action. Respond to inquiries from licensees, including examination/investigation extension requests for completion of the Information Requests and licensees’ responses to Reports of Examination/Investigation submissions.
- Analyzes licensees’ information in NMLS and recommends to management which type of exam should be conducted, including the scope for the examination. Request and analyze other state examinations in SES and email. Prepares pre-examination datasheet or equivalent for examiners.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience: Two years of administrative staff or professional work.
Notes:
1. Candidates may substitute 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university for one year of the required experience.
2. Candidates may substitute the possession of a Bachelor's degree from a college or university for the required experience.
3. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer involving staff work that included regular use of independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting complex administrative plans, policies, rules or regulations or analysis of operational programs or procedures with recommendations for improvement on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
