Main Purpose of Job

The specialized work involving responsibility for materials management of a large state institution involving the procurement, receipts, storage, distribution and disposition of supplies, materials and equipment. Work involves extensive but relatively routine contact with vendors and purchasing department in initiating requisitions and purchase orders for material, supplies and equipment.

This position offers a hybrid teleworking schedule.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.

Experience: Four years of experience in receiving, storing, issuing, purchasing and requisitioning supplies, materials, and equipment.

Notes: Candidates may substitute 30 credit hours of education at an accredited college or university for each year up to four years of the required experience.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preference will be given to applicants who possess the following preferred qualification(s). Include clear and specific information on your application regarding your qualifications.

· Experience with FMIS, ADPICS, and eMaryland Marketplace Advantage (eMMA)
· Experience soliciting and managing contracts for various categories of goods and services
· Experience organizing, tracking, and being responsible supplies, materials and equipment.
