POSITION DUTIES

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in UX/UI design, a passion for user-centered design, and a proven track record of delivering exceptional digital experiences. Act as a champion for user-centered design principles and advocate for the importance of UX/UI in achieving success.

We need you to lead UX/UI design efforts to ensure high-quality and innovative design solutions are delivered within budget and on time. Develop and implement design strategies that align with the Agency’s overall goals and objectives. Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into user-centered design solutions. Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and feedback for continuous improvement of our digital presence. Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows. Ensure all designs are user-friendly, visually appealing, and consistent with the Agency’s brand and design guidelines. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design, and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation within the team. Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support to help them grow. Oversee the design process from conception to launch, ensuring all deliverables meet quality and accessibility standards. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on designs based on user and business needs. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines. Communicate design decisions and rationale to stakeholders and senior leadership. Proactively identify and address any design or process issues to improve efficiency and productivity.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Possession of a Bachelor's degree in graphic design, interaction design, human-computer interaction, or a related field from an accredited college or university.

Experience: Five years of proven experience as a UI/UX designer or in a similar role.

**For education obtained outside of the U.S., you will be required to provide proof of the equivalent American education as determined by a foreign credential evaluation service. If you possess a degree obtained outside of the United States, please submit a detailed, course-by-course evaluation report from one of the U.S. equivalency evaluating members identified at http://www.naces.org/members.html.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in design tools like Adobe XD, Figma, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Sketch, etc. 
  • Successful track record in user research, testing, prototyping and wireframing, user flow and interaction design. Excellent time management, communication and  collaboration skills.
  • Critical thinker, with ability to adapt in our Agile environment. Strong project management and organizational skills. 
  • Proficiency in MS365  (Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel, etc.) and Adobe applications.
  • Knowledge of WCAG accessibility guidelines and implementation in design.
  • Master's Degree in UI/UX Design or similar field.
  • Expansive design portfolio.
  • Successful track record in information architecture, creating sensible content structure in complex environments. Familiarity with website development languages such as JavaScript, XML, CSS, C, C++, and HTML.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) environment.
  • Design experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and other integrative applications.
