Introduction
The Governor’s Office
of Crime Prevention and Policy (GOCPP) is Maryland’s one-stop shop for city and
county agency resources to improve public safety in Maryland.
To serve as a coordinating
office that advises the Governor on criminal justice strategies. The office
plans, promotes, and funds efforts with government entities, private
organizations, and the community to advance public policy, enhance public
safety, reduce crime and juvenile delinquency, and serve victims.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: A bachelor's degree from an accredited
college or university.
Experience: Three (3) years of experience managing and
administering grant programs. One year of this experience must include
supervising and coaching professional staff.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preference will be
given to applicants who possess the following preferred qualification(s).
Two (2) years of experience managing grant programs associated with federal/state funding.
Knowledge of grant
program budgeting.
