POSITION DUTIES
- Assists the Bureau Chief to manage and lead programs and new initiatives in order to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity in the delivery of services through process evaluation, maximizing resource utilization and achievement of outcomes in accordance with federal, state, county agency and other applicable policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Assists the Bureau chief to manage and lead employee performance to assure that standards are met and to develop evaluate and motivate and promote individual and departmental goal attainment.
- Assists the Bureau Chief to manage and monitor all program specific funds to ensure appropriate utilization of funds for service delivery in accordance with federal, state, county, agency and other applicable policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Assists the Bureau Chief to create, maintain and strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders to endure that high quality services are delivered to customers in accordance with the Child, Adult and Family Services Divisions strategic goals.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 year of experience in monitoring programs for compliance.
- 1 year of experience in budget management.
- 1 year of experience in strategic planning and leadership skills.

· Personal Leave - new State employees are awarded six (6) personnel days annually (prorated based on start date).
· Annual Leave - ten (10) days of accumulated annual leave per year.
· Sick Leave - fifteen (15) days of accumulated sick leave per year.
· Parental Leave - up to sixty (60) days of paid parental leave upon the birth or adoption of a child.
· Holidays - State employees also celebrate at least twelve (12) holidays per year.
· Pension - State employees earn credit towards a retirement pension.
· Positions may be eligible for telework.
