Main Purpose of Job
The position will assist the unit's worker protection programs in developing strategic enforcement plans aimed at identifying industries and workplaces where noncompliance with worker protection laws is more likely; engaging in education, outreach, and enforcement activities to raise compliance; establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with stakeholders; and formulation and/or monitoring metrics to assist in determining the effectiveness of this work in raising compliance rates. This position will assist with internal coordination (within the Division's programs) and external coordination activities with other enforcement agencies, including the Office of the Attorney General.
POSITION DUTIES
Strategic Enforcement Planning and Implementation Assistance: As directed by the Commissioner, works
collaboratively with senior leadership of the Division, program management and assistant attorney generals, and the Commissioner to develop strategic enforcement plans and protocols for the Division's labor standards programs.
Data Analytics and Performance Measurement: Leads the Division's data analytics and performance measurement activities, with initial concentration in the labor standards programs. This section of the work includes formulation, tracking, and analysis of metrics for measuring effectiveness of enforcement activities, as well as reporting out (such as in the development of a dashboard) of Division's work.
Coordination of Enforcement Activities: Works to coordinate and, to the extent appropriate, integrate enforcement activities internally within the Division's labor standards programs. Analytical and Research Support: Conducts factual research and analysis in support of/in connection with Division programs and priorities, and to support Division policy initiatives.
Other related duties as assigned by the Commissioner.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Five years of experience in labor standards enforcement,
data analytics, and/or performance management, or a combination of
experience and related education (e.g., associate's degree in economics,
statistics, political science, public policy, labor relations, business
administration or a similar field from an accredited institution).
SELECTIVE QUALIFICATIONS

- Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, Access, or another comparable data analytics or database program.
- One year of experience working for a regulatory agency.

- Spanish language proficiency (written and spoken).
