Introduction
The ACP Operations Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Address
Confidentiality Program (ACP) to ensure efficient operations. The ACP is a legislatively mandated
program administered by the Office of the Secretary of State, that aids victims of domestic violence,
sexual assault, human trafficking, and other violent crimes in Maryland by keeping their locations
confidential. The Program provides a legal substitute address and mail forwarding service for
participants to use with the purpose of keeping their real address off of public record. The Operations
Coordinator position plays a critical role to the agency and the state government’s goal of ensuring the
safety and confidentiality of the ACP participants.

This job would initially be 100% from the office, after a 60 day onboarding period
there is the potential for 60% in office and 40% telework.

POSITION DUTIES
The key responsibilities of this position include:
1. Procedural Management: Manage, delegate, and perform documented processes such as
vetting applications, handling change forms, responding to phone and email inquiries, sorting
mail, and facilitating the real property process, while implementing optimal practices and any
necessary improvements within the Division.
2. Operational Management: Address operational issues as they arise and implement
solutions promptly and effectively under the guidance and direction of the Division Director.
3. Records Management: Maintain accurate physical and electronic records with a priority on
protecting the participants’ confidentiality.
4. Customer Service: Provide excellent, trauma-informed customer service to ACP
participants, such as answering inquiries and offering advice while adhering to documented
processes.
5. Performance Tracking: Monitor and contribute to the Division’s performance metrics for the
monthly executive and grant reports.
6. Office Management: Maintain a neat, organized, and well supplied office area, as well as
effectively tracking inventory in order to promote an efficient and productive working
environment.
The role of the ACP Operations Coordinator is critical to maintaining the Program’s efficiency and
productivity, in order to ensure the safety and confidentiality of the ACP participants.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED with 5 years of administrative experience
- or a Bachelor’s Degree with 2-3 years of administrative experience
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a sensitive and persuasive manner
- Excellent computer literacy
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Must be able to proactively learn and work in all areas of the division
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs
- Ability to compose written reports
- Project management skills to analyze the needs of the victim and provide assistance and support in the resolution of complex problems
- Highly motivated and dedicated to delivering results in a timely and accurate manner
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Trauma informed experience preferred (more below for your reference)
- Familiarity working with individuals who have experienced victimization and trauma and having the knowledge and skills in providing trauma informed care approaches to work with victims
- Strong demonstrated ability in managing records and reports
- Ability to speak Spanish
