Main Purpose of Job
POSITION DUTIES
- Completes out-of-home Foster Care placements, and Adoption and Guardianship subsidies to ensure that a positive eligibility determination is made for children who are eligible to receive Title IV-E funding.
- Completes work independently to determine eligibility based on State and Federal regulations and policies and decide on appropriate funding adjustments to the State’s accounting records.
- Completes Applicable Child Assessments, Adoption Subsidy eligibility determinations and Guardianship Assistance eligibility determinations.

Enters, updates, verifies and upload required data and supporting documentation into the CJAMS data system. Maintain supporting documentation for all completed Title IV-E eligibility determinations that meet program standards in accordance with federal and state requirements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must meet all minimum (and selective) qualifications to be considered, and to appear on the list of people eligible for hire. Please read all requirements before applying.
Experience: Six years of experience, two years of experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations and an additional four years of professional or technical experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations.
Notes:
1. Candidates may substitute the possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two years of experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations for the required experience.
2. Candidates may substitute graduate level education at an accredited college or university in a human services related field at the rate of 30 credit hours per year for up to six years of the required experience.
3. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military experience as a commissioned officer in Administrative Officer classifications or Administrative Officer specialty codes in the General, Administrative, Clerical and Office Services field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preference will be given to applicants who possess the following preferred qualification(s). Include clear and specific information on your application regarding your qualifications.
One year of the required experience in a federal compliance program such as Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF).
One year of determining client eligibility for a federal program.
One year of experience working within a program such as: Child Juvenile and Adult Management System (CJAMS), Client Information System (CIS), Eligibility & Enrollment (E&E), State Verification Exchange System (SVES) and (BEACON 2.0).
One year of experience working with office software
applications such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Smartsheet.
