The Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services (DPSCS) is seeking dedicated candidates to fill important roles within our department. Main Purpose of Job
This position functions as a Background Investigator for the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services, Human Resource Services Division, responsible for the completion of comprehensive background investigations for prospective agency employees, to include vendors and contract employees.
- Completes criminal database checks on vendor and non-mandated-(civilian) applicants.
- Review criminal database checks on vendor and non-mandated-(civilian) applicants.
- Corresponds with prospective applicants regarding their background checks and disposition paperwork.
