THIS IS A POSITION-SPECIFIC RECRUITMENT FOR MARYLAND CORRECTIONAL ENTERPRISES.

POSITION DUTIES
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Possession of a High School Diploma or a State High School Equivalence Certificate.
Experience:
Agency desires at least four or more years of
experience with commercial mailing operations to include; large and small
package distribution, bar code application, high volume print operations, mail
house operations such as pick/pack and ship, mail sorting, mail stuffing
operations and equipment. Experience required in a fulfillment operation that
handles a variety of items and shipments for multiple customers. Candidate must
have computer skills with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel and Google Docs..
Specialized software used in mailing operations as well as Enterprises Resource Planning (ERP) a plus. Candidate must be a detail oriented self
starter with a proven track record able to work in a fast paced environment.
Notes:
(1) Specific educational requirements and other selections standards are set by
the Maryland Correctional Training Commission in accordance with Correctional
Services Article, Section 8-209 or the Annotated Code and are listed in the
Code of Maryland Regulations Title 12, Subtitle 10, Chapter 01.

Employees in this classification are subject to substance abuse testing in
accordance with Code of Maryland Regulations 17.04.09, Testing for Illegal Use
of Drugs.

BARGAINING UNIT STATUS
The incumbent in this position is a member of a covered bargaining unit and will be required to pay a bi-weekly services fee to the exclusive representative of the bargaining unit.
