This is a MANAGEMENT SERVICES position with the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. The incumbent serves at the pleasure of the appointing authority.

LOCATION OF POSITION

Baltimore City - 6776 Reisterstown Road, Baltimore MD 21215

POSITION DUTIES

This position is responsible for management of Contracts for Medical/Mental Health PreTrial and DOC, Dental and Pharmacy. This includes payment authorization for vendor invoices for in scope contracts. Provide programming support of data analytic tool (Access). The analytics are done SQL queries and Visual Basic coding.Oversight of Medical Internal Audit Unit (MIAU). Responsible for the Fiscal activities of the inmate health contracts unit and review recommendations made by the Medical Internal Audit Unit (MIAU) to ensure proper payments and recommends payments recoveries, withholds, and/or liquidated/direct damages, modification to the contract.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university
Experience: 5 Years of Auditing Experience
