The Social Media Marketing
Intern will assist the Montgomery Regional Airport Authority in the development
and implementation of its marketing and public relations plan. The department
is seeking an intern with a strong knowledge and understanding of the digital
media landscape, including various social media websites. This role offers the
intern a total immersion into digital recruitment; and the successful candidate
will collaborate with key members of the Montgomery Regional Airport and external
marketing professionals to learn about social media, digital communications,
and marketing in a recruiting environment. This role will be instrumental in
further increasing our social media presence and gaining visibility for our
brand among our customers.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Current junior or senior who is pursuing a degree
in Marketing or a related field such as Communications, English, Journalism, or
Public Relations with a minimum GPA of 2.75.

Creative self-starter who is comfortable with
both taking initiative and working collaboratively with a team.

Detailed oriented with strong written and verbal
communication skills and able to maintain a professional demeanor under all
circumstances.

Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite,
Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, and Illustrator.

Familiarity and skill with mainstream social
media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram,
LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
NOTE: Qualifying education, training and experience that provide the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job will be considered.
PREFERRED:
·
Experience developing and implementing social
media campaigns to promote events or organizations or similar. (Experience
could be through a class project.)
