The fundamental reason this
position exists is to provide the citizens of Montgomery a single point of
contact for all city events and services.
The work responsibilities include receiving and responding to various
types of inquiries, problems or complaints over the telephone and handling
administrative duties. This position
reports to a 3-1-1 Customer Service Supervisor.
Must have a High School Diploma
or GED and one (1) year of customer service experience.
Must be willing to work a
flexible, non-routine schedule at the City of Montgomery Call Center or
City/County EMA locations as directed to include possible weekend work,
overtime and/or long hours in order to assist in responding during emergencies
and natural or man-made disasters. Some
positions may be utilized on an “as needed” part-time basis.
