The fundamental reason this position exists is
to provide technical support in the Economic and Community Development Urban
Forestry Division. Work responsibilities include processing applications,
collecting and analyzing data, providing customer service, coordinating various
projects and activities, performing technical duties related to assignment, and
performing various miscellaneous tasks. Work is performed under the general
supervision of other technical staff and/or professional level supervisors and
managers.
High school diploma or G.E.D and two (2) years of responsible administrative support experience in urban forestry, horticulture/landscaping, natural resource management OR two (2) years of college education in a related field.
NOTE: Qualifying education, training and experience that provide the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job will be considered.
