Compensation plans are based on a multi-step progression system. The pay range reflects the entry level and maximum salary potential in the assigned pay grade.

The
fundamental reason this classification exists is to oversee sanitation crews
and provide information to customers concerning services, city ordinances and
laws that govern the services provided by the Sanitation Department. Primary work responsibilities may include: directing
activities of work crews; traveling assigned routes to assist crews;
communicating with customers concerning services; assessing service charges; completing
inspections of sanitation vehicles; reviewing and maintaining records and
forms; and operating sanitation vehicles as needed. The Refuse Collection
Supervisor classification is supervised by the Refuse Collection Manager.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record. Must be able to work shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays as schedule requires.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the elements to include direct sun exposure, extreme heat and/or cold, rain, and lightning.
