The fundamental reason this classification
exists is to gather, record and evaluate data pertaining to the routing
manpower, material, and equipment in order to increase or improve productivity
and efficiency of the Sanitation Department services. The Production Controller
collects, evaluates, and maintains records and database information; monitors
the work of field personnel; and coordinates with Refuse Collection Supervisors
and the Sanitation Department Billing and Collections Office to identify those
residences that are delinquent yet receiving sanitation services. The Production Controller receives
supervision from the Sanitation Department Director.
High school diploma or GED. Two (2) years of experience
in public works route management and scheduling or other related route
management experience, to include one (1) year of experience entering and
utilizing data in computer spreadsheets and database software.
NOTE: Qualifying
education, training and experience that provide the requisite knowledge, skills,
and abilities to perform the job will be considered.
