This
is administrative work organizing, coordinating and supervising a comprehensive visual, performing and cultural arts program for the Armory Arts and Learning
Center. This employee performs a dual role of administering policies and
programs in the arts and humanities as Arts Program Manager. The work
responsibilities include managing the dedicated visual and performing arts
rehearsal and performing spaces/classrooms, including the gallery, the dance
studios, the theatre, and utility spaces which support arts programing
activities. This position is
supervised by the Director of Cultural Affairs.
Bachelor
degree in Arts Administration, Public Administration, Fine Arts, Museum
Administration, Business Administration or a related field; three years’
experience in cultural arts administration, events management, arts education, management
of community programs or services, or art related programs, with at least one
of those years in a supervisory capacity.
